Joey Teague

Growing up in the small town of Roby, Texas, Joey developed a strong work ethic early on while helping his family manage their farm, where they raised registered Duroc pigs. This foundation in agriculture sparked his passion for the field, leading him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, which Joey completed in 1993.

Joey's journey in agriculture gifted him with a diverse skill set, as the demands of farm life required him to become a person of many talents. Constructing barns and other agricultural structures as well as completing site work along with many other types of projects on the farm ignited his interest in construction, further shaping his career path. After earning my teaching certificate in Agriculture from Southwest Texas State University in 1995, Joey gained valuable experience over the next 15 years in management and sales roles with two agricultural companies, both in Texas and Colorado.

After deciding to move back to Texas, Joey has proudly served as a Construction Manager at Hlavinka Equipment & Boettcher Hlavinka Company for the past 13 years. Here, he was able to leverage his expertise in the agricultural sector by constructing multiple Agricultural Equipment Dealerships. Being able to contribute to two industries that he cares dearly about has been instrumental to his career.

Outside of his professional life, Joey cherishes time with family. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Elizabeth, for 31 years, and together they are proud parents to three sons, ages 19, 22, and 24. They are the driving force behind the continued effort.
