Brian Barta
Growing up in East Bernard, Brian Barta was surrounded by a family who valued hard work, creativity, and the satisfaction of building something with their own hands. His paternal grandfather spent years framing homes throughout the area, giving Brian an early appreciation for the skill and craftsmanship behind a well-built home. His father had a natural ability to build, repair, and find solutions to just about any challenge, while his maternal grandfather shared his artistic talent through the intricate work of stained-glass. These influences shaped Brian’s understanding that construction is both a trade and an art—one that requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to creating something meaningful that will last for generations.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and began his career as a superintendent in commercial construction. After gaining valuable experience managing complex projects and leading teams, he felt called to return home and use his skills to serve the community that helped shape him.
Today, Brian is passionate about residential construction because it allows him to make a meaningful impact on local families. As part of the Boettcher Hlavinka team, he enjoys helping clients bring their vision to life through thoughtful communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Outside of work, Brian and his wife, Katie, are raising their three children in the community they call home. He enjoys gardening, woodworking, restoring antiques, fishing, and serving on his church’s building committee, continuing to use his passion for construction to serve others.
